Death Drive was the first album I mentioned on this blog. As he did with the original Sole and The Skyrider Band album, Sole has had some of has beat making friends. 6 tracks have been remixed (Don’t Riot has been appears twice).

I quite liked the production on the original album. It was hard hitting and fit well with the lyrics. It may be that I have listened to the original album a lot and only given this remix project one listen but these remixes do not have the edge and focus of the original songs. These remixes sound more relaxed than the beats by DJ Pain 1 and that may appeal to people who like to listen to their music while sitting.

It’s a free download and certainly worth checking out but if you have not heard the original album I recommend you give it a listen.
