Happy New Year! Now that everyone’s back at work and/or school, we can commiserate the dreary winter weather with some gloomy music. The holidays are over.

In high school I was the younger brother of a goth kid. As you would expect, most of the songs on this playlist I first heard on her car stereo. Since neither of my parents listened to music that interested me much, my older sister’s record collection rubbed off on me the most.
