I had this album recommended to me with the description of “interesting glitchy goodness”. I did a quick search for Culprate on Spotify and listened to the first EP I found. It was some good but fairly standard dub step type music. When I switched to the new album Deliverance I was pleasantly surprised and actually had to check it was indeed by the same artist. It was at this point that I found Culprate had run an IndieGoGO campaign to create what he described as the experimental album.

His aim was to get enough money to be able to make an album with live instruments and players. What he has created is a unique album that blends electronic and psychedelic in a way I have not heard before. It has elements of dub step but adds layers of composition to make a more complete listening experience.
